The 12 Rak’ah That Build You a House in Jannah
"The two Rak'ah of Fajr are better than the world and what is in it." [Tirmidhi]
As muslims we are familiar with that hadith
But there is more to it than just the two rak'ah before Fajr
Duha.
Witr.
Tahajjud.
Taraweeh.
All of them are sunnah prayers.
Non-compulsory prayers that are offered with the intention of growing closer to Allah and being rewarded by Him.
But these are not the only Sunnah prayers.
Our beloved Prophet ﷺ also gave us the tradition of the Sunnah Rawatib Prayers.
The regular voluntary prayers that he ﷺ never stopped praying.
12 raka'at in addition to the five daily prayers.
A few minutes more in your daily routine.
That will increase you in our Lord's eyes.
And build you a house in paradise.
"Whoever persists in performing twelve Ra'kah from the Sunnah, a house will be built for him in paradise" [Ibn Majah]
But what exactly are they?
These 12 rak'ah are organized as follows:
→ 2 rak'ahs before Fajr
→ 4 rak'ahs before Dhuhr and 2 after Dhuhr
→ 2 rak'ahs after Maghrib
→ 2 rak'ahs after Isha

Practicing these Sunnah prayers only benefits us.
Try to incorporate these into your daily routine.
Try to incorporate more acts of worship during your day.
Even if it’s just reciting one more ayah of the Qur'an a day,
Or smiling at your fellow Muslim,
Or giving $1 to charity,
Or praying Tahajjud.
May Allah increase you in closeness to Him.
